Seminars & lectures

In-house lectures can be provided on request. We are accredited by the Law Society and the Bar Council to lecture in the area of consumer law and CPD points are awarded.

Members of Chambers also give lectures at seminars organised by continuing professional development providers.

Consumer Credit Forum
Chambers co-hosts monthly meetings of the Consumer Credit Forum, an informal group open to all, for discussion of key topics in this area. If you are interested in joining the Forum please contact Bob Weekes.

Finance Litigation Forum
Members of chambers also attend monthly meetings of the Finance Litigation Forum, which is an opportunity to discuss recent consumer credit case law.

Trading Standards Institute
Chambers takes a stand at the Trading Standards Institute conference annually and members regularly give lectures at the Mini-Theatre sessions at the conference.

The 2014 conference will be held in Harrogate from 30th June – 3rd July.

Food Law Group
Members of chambers belong to the Food Law Group, and regularly give lectures there.
