Anna Medvinskaia has been appointed Standing Counsel to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
Anna is a specialist in consumer law, with particular expertise in e-commerce, advertising and pricing. She is ranked as a leading practitioner in Chambers UK and Legal 500, and was named Group Litigation and Consumer Junior of the Year in the 2023 Legal 500 Bar Awards.
The CMA first established its Standing Counsel panel in 2015. Members of the panel assist the CMA with its cases, both in an advisory capacity and in litigation.
The appointment is for an initial period of three years. Anna will continue her usual practice alongside this appointment.
