The Competition and Markets Authority has secured commitments from another three cloud storage providers (Amazon Media EU S.a.r.l, Apple Distribution International and Microsoft Corporation) that they will make changes to their terms and conditions. A summary of the changes to be made can be read here.

This brings to an end the CMA’s review into the cloud storage sector. During the course of the review, 10 cloud storage companies actively engaged with the CMA and voluntarily agreed to make changes. Whilst this concludes the current review, the CMA remains interested in unfair terms and conditions especially in the digital economy.
