Gough Square Chambers CRA Conference 2015
On 16 July 2015, Gough Square Chambers hosted a conference on the Consumer Rights Act at the Bridewell Theatre in London.
Kate Urell explained the new remedies in consumer contracts, Lee Finch spoke on the new digital content regime, Iain Macdonald covered enhanced consumer measures, Simon Popplewell discussed the civil remedies for unfair commercial practices, Jonathan Goulding outlined the enforcement powers contained in the Act and Stephen Neville set out the changes to unfair terms. The conference was chaired by Claire Andrews.
