The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has published new a new guidance document for businesses involved in the secondary ticketing market. The Guidance explains consumers’ rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the obligations on ticketing businesses, including the need to provide specific information regarding the ticket under section 90 of the Act. The guidance also covers prohibitions on cancelling and blacklisting and terms which may be unfair under Part 2 of the Act.
