In this episode of Gough Square Live, Jonathan Goulding and Anna Medvinskaia discuss the recent High Court cases and developments post the Bakers of Nailsea decision in November 2021 discussing the topical issue of the information a prosecutor is required to provide to a Magistrates’ Court when it applies for a summons in cases which have time limits. What is the extent of the information required and what is the effect if that information is not provided? This issue has been before the Administrative Court three times recently and caused much angst amongst those involved in such cases.
