Chambers is pleased to announce that it has remained as the sole Band 1 set for Consumer Law in the Chambers & Partners UK Bar Guide 2024.
In addition, 2024 marks the addition of a new “Consumer Finance” category in the Guide. We are delighted to report that 12 Members of Chambers are ranked in this new category – more than any other set – including the sole Star Individual at the Bar (Fred Philpott) and four practitioners in Band 1 (Jonathan Kirk KC, Iain MacDonald, Kate Urell, and Simon Popplewell).
In total, Gough Square Chambers now houses 21 ranked barristers and 36 individual rankings across six different practice areas.
Special congratulations are due to former Head of Chambers, Claire Andrews, who has been elevated to “Senior Statesperson”.
